Who we are

Senior Power Electronics Expertise, Delivered as a Consultancy

What Elteknik Is

Elteknik P.C. is a boutique engineering consultancy specialising in power electronics — founded on the conviction that the most valuable thing a technical partner can offer is not a team of generalists, but a senior specialist who takes full ownership of the problem.

We work with technology companies, automotive suppliers, and industrial manufacturers across Europe who need rigorous, hands-on power electronics expertise on a project basis. Every engagement is led and delivered personally by Odyssefs Lykartsis — bringing over a decade of applied experience from some of the most technically demanding development environments in the industry.

We do not subcontract. We do not over-promise scope. We engage selectively, work deeply, and deliver to a standard we would be comfortable defending in any engineering review.

Who is Odyssefs

Odyssefs is a Senior Power Electronics Engineer with more than 10 years of professional experience developing high-efficiency DC/DC and AC/DC converters for automotive and telecom applications. He holds an MSc in Electric Power Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology (GPA 4.92/5) — one of Europe’s leading technical universities — and an Executive MBA from the University of Macedonia (GPA 9.73/10, graduated first in class).

His career spans three countries and some of the most technically rigorous development environments in European industry:

  • Ericsson — Power Design Engineer, Stockholm. Design and validation of 48V isolated DC/DC converters, POL converters, and LDOs for ASIC and MCU applications in telecom infrastructure.
  • EVBox — Power Electronics / System Architect, Amsterdam. Led design and verification of power modules for DC fast charging of electric vehicles, including investigation of novel resonant converter topologies and wide bandgap device evaluation.
  • CEVT / Zeekr — Design Engineer, Gothenburg. Hardware development of powertrain inverters and DC/DC converters for automotive applications, including supplier qualification, DFMEA, and system-level simulation.

Across these roles, Odyssefs has worked across the full hardware development lifecycle — from architecture definition and schematic design through PCB layout, simulation, prototype verification, EMC pre-compliance testing, thermal management, and industrialisation support.

His academic work has been published in IEEE conference proceedings, and his MSc thesis was developed in direct collaboration with Volvo Group Trucks Technology.

The Mission

Why Elteknik Exists

The power electronics industry is moving faster than at any point in its history. The electrification of transport, the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure, and the push for greater efficiency in telecom and industrial systems are creating demand for engineering expertise that many organisations cannot maintain in-house on a permanent basis.

Elteknik exists to close that gap — providing the kind of senior, focused, accountable engineering consultancy that organisations need when the technical stakes are high and the margin for error is low.

We believe the best engineering outcomes come from clear responsibility, deep expertise, and honest communication. Those are the principles Elteknik is built on.

How We Work

Engagement Model

Elteknik operates as a European consultancy, serving clients across the continent from a base in Thessaloniki, Greece. We work in a hybrid model — combining remote engineering work with on-site presence at the client’s facilities as the project requires. This approach has been validated across multiple long-term engagements and delivers the responsiveness of an embedded engineer with the efficiency of a specialist consultant.

Typical engagements include:

  • Project-based consultancy — defined scope, deliverables, and timeline
  • Ongoing technical support — retained access to senior expertise across a development programme
  • Design reviews & audits — targeted assessment of specific hardware or system designs
  • Pre-studies & feasibility work — independent technical evaluation ahead of development commitment

We work across English, Greek, and Swedish, and are experienced operating within international, cross-functional development teams.
